Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Mandarin Translator or Interpreter.
Strong grasp of cultural nuances in both Chinese and English-speaking contexts to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate translations.
Proficiency in using translation software and tools (e.g., CAT tools, translation memory systems) is preferred.
Translate various documents, reports, contracts, and communication materials from Mandarin to English and vice.
Provide simultaneous or consecutive interpretation and discussions between Mandarin and English-speaking participants.
Review and proofread translated documents for errors, ensuring consistency in terminology, grammar, and formatting.
Work closely with different departments (e.g., HR, Marketing, Legal) to understand their translation needs and deliver high-quality translations.
